About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Visual Merchandising Manager, the VM and Design Coordinator role will help execute the Benefit commercial marketing strategy across Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities
VM Production
Responsible for the development and coordination of all campaign elements from lightbox visuals, tester units and traffic stopping tools through to artwork design, briefing, quoting, sampling, prototypes, and distribution/installation. Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure all campaigns are delivered within timeframe and budget. Ability to adapt planograms across various store formats. Assist with budget management, process invoices, and raise purchase orders for the team. Create and execute the 360‐degree campaign trade brief for individual retailers (Myer, Sephora NZ, and Travel Retail) to communicate tools and support for retail activation. Responsible for the implementation and communication of all trade marketing and promotional activity to stores. Support with campaign set‐ups in‐store and remotely along with frequent store‐by‐store feedback. Manage monthly tester orders.
Design and EDM Production
Ability to localise and adapt artwork across multiple platforms for POS material, fixtures and digital assets. Design localised print collateral, amend artwork and create bespoke treatments when required. Stay current with design trends and EDM culture to create relevant and engaging visuals. Produce animations and motion graphics for video/digital content. Ensure all designs align with the brand identity and target audience. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Revise and iterate on designs based on feedback from key stakeholders. Prepare final files for print and digital distribution, ensuring proper formats and resolutions. Maintain a library of design assets for future use. Must be able to utilise Adobe Suite: Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
VM Training
Deliver engaging VM training to the Field team through training workshops, communications and store visits. Conduct regular store visits to train /coach and assist stores to interpret campaign guidelines for their specific needs.
Project Management of Repairs and Maintenance
Manage the coordination of all maintenance requests. Communicate with key contractors/ stakeholders on the varying job requirements to deliver on time and within budget. Regularly track inventory requirements, providing ongoing updates to key contacts. Assess and allocate to relevant contractors to rectify within a timely manner.
Qualifications
Experience & Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Merchandising or a related field. 3+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Design, preferably in retail or cosmetics. Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines. Strong understanding of design principles, spatial awareness and aesthetics. Numerical, organisational and PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Ability to travel to retail locations as needed.
