The Development Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the Development Team—including Development Managers and General Managers.
This role involves providing critical analytical, research, and strategic support, with a focus on evaluating new lease opportunities, project specific delivery and acquisitions.
Additionally, the Development Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate updating of key reporting metrics to support informed decision-making and enhance portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Analysis: Assist in financial modelling and preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Database Management & Reporting: Ensure all internal databases are accurate and reconciled, assist with capital expenditure forecasting, and support new business technology initiatives.
Research & Market Analysis Business Analysis & Inventory Management: Manage land bank feasibilities, complete financial analysis for development opportunities, and review land tax and rates notices.
Support Development Team: Assist with reports and presentations for FPI Committees, compile estate business plans, review independent valuations, coordinate with interstate teams, and manage joint venture reporting.
Culture & Relationship Building: Contribute to a positive team culture, collaborate across internal departments, and build relationships with industry personnel, including agents, valuers, and consultants.
Skills and Experience: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience with Argus Enterprise for financial modeling is an advantage.
A solid understanding of property valuation methodologies.
Familiarity with logistics and industrial assets and markets.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
Experience in property investment, agency, valuations, development, or fund management.
Strong financial analytical skills and a keen interest in property investment.
Direct industry experience (minimum of 2 years) is advantageous.
Exceptional attention to detail and numerical acumen.
