About the Role
As a Mine Geologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the mine operates safely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
* MAPPING DEVELOPMENT HEADINGS EACH SHIFT TO INFORM GEOLOGICAL MODELS
* VALIDATING OREBODY AND STRUCTURAL OBSERVATIONS FROM DIGITAL FACE MAPS AGAINST EXISTING INTERPRETATIONS
* COLLECTING AND INTERPRETING GRADE-CONTROL SAMPLES TO ENSURE DATA QUALITY AND PROMPT TURNAROUND
* CORE LOGGING AND COLLECTING HYDROGEOLOGICAL DATA FROM MONITORING POINTS
* MONITORING COMPLIANCE WITH SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL, AND STATUTORY STANDARDS
You will be working closely with various teams to optimise cave designs and schedules.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities.
