Job Opportunity
* Deliver vital phone-based support to individuals who have experienced domestic and family violence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accept referrals from the NSW Police and Justice Department, establishing contact with individuals recently affected by domestic and family violence (DFV).
* Conduct in-depth safety assessments over the phone, identify immediate needs, and refer clients to suitable services.
Requirements:
* Possess a degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
* Experience working with DFV cases, including understanding the specific needs of men impacted by DFV.
* Able to conduct client safety evaluations and develop comprehensive safety plans.
* Capable of handling complex referrals involving collaboration with law enforcement and reporting child protection concerns.
