About the Role:We are seeking a motivated Driver/Trades Assistant with a HC licence to join our Equipment Division at Perth Airport. In this role, you will support the workshop team with mechanical tasks, assist tradespeople on the workshop floor, and carry out equipment movements as required.What We Offer:Full-time permanent role with consistent hoursMonday – Friday (6am Starts)$40.39/hour plus 15% superannuationOpportunity to work with a dynamic team across multiple sitesExposure to a variety of vehicles, equipment, and mechanical tasksKey Responsibilities:Provide trade assistant support for diesel and petrol mechanical repairs as directed by the Workshop ManagerPick up and deliver vehicles, equipment, and parts as requiredYard movements of heavy vehicles, including rigid trucks, prime movers, and trailersMaintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop and work environmentPerform weekly/monthly vehicle and equipment checksMaintain accurate job cards and recordsFollow all OHS procedures and participate in safety programsThe role may also involve operating or repositioning B-Double combinations within designated yard and operational areas.Skills & Attributes:Strong mechanical knowledge and workshop experienceExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and follow instructionsWell organised, motivated, and safety-consciousQualifications & Licences:HC Truck Licence or higherForklift Licence preferred but not mandatory#LI-DNI#LI-DNPAbout Team Global ExpressTeam Global Express (TGE) is an Australian-owned transport and logistics business delivering to Australia and New Zealand.
