About The Role
We are currently seeking two experienced and passionate Psychologists to join our Student Support Services team in part-time roles. These positions offer the opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing, development and inclusion of children and young people. Student Support Services partners with schools and preschools to provide high-quality and culturally responsive services that support the learning and wellbeing of all children and students, particularly those with additional needs.
Psychologist
This role forms part of a multidisciplinary team that delivers proactive, targeted and intensive psychological support for children and young people with developmental, cognitive, behavioural, emotional, and social needs—including those with co-existing conditions such as autism, ADHD, neurological disorders and mental health challenges.
Working collaboratively with educators and families, the Psychologist develops evidence-based interventions that support learning, engagement and wellbeing in both school and home environments. With demonstrated expertise in complex casework, the Psychologist also provides professional supervision to other Psychologists and contributes to service improvement and professional practice across the team.
Senior Psychologist
This position sits within the Flexible Services Response Team and plays a strategic role in delivering services to regions where demand exceeds local capacity. The Senior Psychologist oversees the coordination and delivery of psychology services using flexible modalities—including Telepractice, FIFO arrangements, and external providers.
The role involves direct service delivery, as well as line management and professional supervision of Flexible Services Psychologists. The Senior Psychologist co-leads the statewide Telepractice Champions Network and provides specialist input into the ongoing development and implementation of flexible and innovative service delivery models.
Qualifications
Essential: Current and full registration (general) with the Psychology Board of Australia Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor.
Desirable: Area of practice endorsement – educational and developmental psychology and/or clinical psychology and/or counselling psychology.
Board approved supervisor (Senior Psychologist only).
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
AHP3: $104,180 - $111,746 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
