We are launching a dedicated Residential Division to bring our signature commercial‐grade technical expertise and rapid service responsiveness straight to Sydney's booming residential, townhouse, duplex, granny flat, and renovation sectors.
Reporting to the GM – Sales & Marketing, you will be the entrepreneurial powerhouse spearheading this launch. With Sydney's detached housing and medium‐density markets remaining structurally strong—particularly across the Western Sydney growth corridors—you will have the backing of premium supplier partnerships, heavy digital marketing, and an internal sales support team to help you capture a dominant market footprint.

Key Responsibilities
Your mission is to identify, influence, and convert material supply opportunities across Greater Sydney, ensuring Faststud becomes the supplier of choice for modern residential projects.
* Project Conversion: Identify and convert new residential project opportunities (detached homes, townhouses, duplexes, granny flats, and major renovations).
* Relationship Building: Build and maintain deep, high‐value relationships with contractors, builders, developers, and key decision‐makers.
* Promote the Ecosystem: Grow market share across a comprehensive, high‐demand product ecosystem, including interior linings, fibre cement cladding, external lightweight facades, metal framing, AAC, insulation, and architectural battens.
* Pipeline Management: Track and manage project pipelines from early engagement and specification through to final conversion using HubSpot automation.
* Value‐Based Selling: Position Faststud's technical superiority and premium brand backing to win business, steering away from price‐driven commodity trading.
* Collaborate: Partner closely with our Internal Sales Support team member to ensure flawless quote‐to‐delivery execution and exceptional customer outcomes.
* Market Intelligence: Provide continuous market insights, competitor analysis, and growth strategies to keep the division ahead of the curve.
About You
* Proven Sales Performance: You have a track record of business development or project sales success within the residential construction, building materials, or distribution sectors.
* Industry Network: An established network of residential builders, developers, or plaster/cladding contractors within the Greater Sydney region is highly regarded.
* Product Knowledge: Familiarity with modern lightweight compliant façade systems, thermal upgrades, steel framing, plasterboard, or AAC systems.
* Tier‐1 Supplier Familiarity: Experience working alongside or utilizing premium brands like Knauf and James Hardie.
* Construction Acumen: A strong understanding of the residential building lifecycle, combined with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‐building skills.
