The Role This organisation is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Medical Receptionist to join their team on a full-time basis, covering maternity leave with the possibility of transitioning to a part-time position for the right candidate.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in Shenton Park, with occasional coverage required at the Myaree Clinic.
Key details: Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
Immediate start Responsibilities include: Providing exceptional customer service to patients and clinicians.
Booking, managing, and ensuring appointments run smoothly.
Maintaining accurate patient medical records and ensuring all documentation is updated promptly.
Processing billing for private patients, DVA, NDIS, and third parties such as workers' compensation and insurance claims.
Undertaking administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, mailing documentation, and receipting parcels and returned items.
Your Profile Our client is looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic medical setting and can contribute to creating a positive experience for patients.
Ideal candidates will possess: Proven experience as a medical receptionist, ideally in a specialist practice.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in-person, over the phone, and in writing.
Full working rights / a valid visa with no time restrictions.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Capability to multitask and work independently or within a team environment.
A positive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
A proactive and thorough work ethic.
Preferred experience with NDIS and Cliniko.
Reliable and punctual with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
