Educator - room leader / human resource officer

Mirabilia is a growing early childhood education provider committed to creating inspiring learning environments for children, families, and educators. As we continue to expand, we are looking for passionate and dedicated professionals to join our team across two exciting positions: Available Positions.

* Educator - Room Leader ($75,000 to $78,000/annum + superannuation)
* Human Resource Officer ($80,000 to $90,000/annum + superannuation)
Educator – Room Leader

Key responsibilities

* Lead and supervise a team of educators, ensuring high-quality care and education for children.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate educational programs and activities.
* Foster a positive and inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported.
* Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
* Provide guidance and support to other educators, offering mentorship and professional development opportunities.
* Monitor and track children's progress, ensuring their developmental milestones are met.
* Communicate with parents and caregivers about their child's progress and well‐being.

Required Qualification & Work Experience

* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
* Minimum 1 year full-time work experience.
* Experience in a similar role, leading a team of educators (highly preferable).
* Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
* Passion for working with children and a genuine commitment to their development and well‐being.
* Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Human Resource Officer

Key responsibilities

* Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes.
* Maintain HR records and employee documentation.
* Support employee relations and staff performance processes.
* Assist with training and professional development coordination.
* Support workplace compliance and HR administration.
* Work closely with management on staffing and workforce planning.

Required Qualification & Work Experience

* Previous experience in Human Resources or HR Administration – 1 year minimum.
* Bachelor qualification or above in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
* Strong understanding of Australian employment practices.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Experience in childcare or education sector highly regarded.
