We are a specialist health practice located in Perth, Western Australia. The Centre provides neurodevelopmental assessments and mental health services, delivering an integrated approach to supporting children, adolescents and adults through professional, respectful and thorough care.

Our services include comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments, psychiatry evaluation and medication management, psychotherapy, and support for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention‐Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD). We work with accredited practitioners and provide coordinated, patient‐centred support for families, referrers and patients.

We are seeking an experienced Health Practice Manager (ANZSCO 512211) to organise and control the administrative systems, practice personnel, daily operations and business resources of the Centre. The successful applicant will support smooth service delivery across a multidisciplinary healthcare environment and will play an important role in patient flow, staff coordination, compliance, records, accounts, and continuous improvement of practice operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, organise and control the daily administrative operations of the health practice, including reception workflow, appointment systems, referral intake, patient enquiries and communication processes.
* Contribute to the planning and review of office services, administrative priorities and service standards to support efficient neurodevelopmental assessment and mental health service delivery.
* Allocate practice resources, including staff time, consulting rooms, space, equipment, clinical consumables and administrative systems, to support clinicians and maintain smooth patient flow.
* Assign work to reception and administrative staff, monitor performance, assist with onboarding, and coordinate training, supervision and workflow standards.
* Manage patient records, confidential documentation, bookings, accounts, billing, payments, reporting, and relevant Medicare/HICAPS/MBS processes where applicable.
* Liaise with psychiatrists, psychologists, allied health professionals, general practitioners, families, referrers, suppliers and management to coordinate operations.
* Ensure compliance with privacy obligations, confidentiality standards.
* Coordinate personnel such as rostering, recruitment support, performance feedback and training records.
* Identify and implement improvements to intake, referrals, scheduling, communication, documentation and workflow efficiency.
* Prepare and maintain accurate administrative reports and operational documentation.

Skills and Experience Required

* AQF Diploma or higher in Practice Management, Health Administration, Health Services Management, Business Administration, Management, or a relevant health discipline.
* Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a medical centre, specialist clinic, allied health practice, mental health practice or similar healthcare environment.
* Experience coordinating practice administration, patient appointments, referral intake, patient flow, accounts and confidential records.
* Experience supervising, training or coordinating administrative or reception staff in a healthcare setting.
* Strong understanding of healthcare administration, privacy, confidentiality, WHS obligations and patient service standards.
* Ability to liaise professionally with clinicians, patients, families, referrers and external stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
* Competency with practice management systems, Microsoft Office and electronic health records.
* Experience in neurodevelopmental, psychiatry, psychology, mental health or allied health settings highly regarded.

Salary Range

AUD $76,000 to $80,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience.
