Barminco hassuccessfullytendered for the exciting Bellevue Gold Projectlocatedapproximately 40km north-east of Leinster in Western Australia's Northern Goldfields region. Operated by Bellevue Gold Limited, Bellevue is one of Australia's highest-grade underground gold mines, achieving commercial production in 2024 and positioned for significant long-term growth.
This major underground operation combines industry-leading mining practices with a strong sustainability focus, including a hybrid renewable energy power station designed to supply more than80% of the site's power requirements through renewable energy sources.
About the Role
As part of this project, Barminco is seeking experienced and motivatedTrade Assistantsto join the team on a full-time basis, working an14/7FIFO roster.These roles are integral to delivering safe,productiveand efficient underground mining operations at the Bellevue Gold Mine while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the Bellevue Gold Mine.
Your role will support underground production within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?
Supporting Heavy Diesel and Light Vehicle trades
Assistwith set up, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on underground and ancillary equipment
Regreasing, oilchangesand general workshop duties
Maintainaccuratemaintenance records and report defects or safety issues
Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures while working underground
Previousexperience working as a serviceperson or trade assistant
Completion of pre apprenticeship preferred (but not essential)
Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence)
