**What will I be doing day to day?**
- Produce high level DODAF detailed design documents with a focus on Systems Engineering design and traceability concepts
- Collaborate with T&E and OT&E teams to help "Transition into Service" activities
- Plan and schedule infrastructure rollouts in geographically distributed data centres
- Provide advice and guidance in aspects of infrastructure deployment
**What sort of skills do I need?**
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunication or a related discipline
- Experience in Widows and Linux operating systems, and networking technologies
- Strong background as a System Designer on medium to large size projects
- Experience with Software Engineering and VMWare virtualisation
- Combination of the following cirtifications; VMWare VCAPS, Red Hat, SANS SEC 401, SANS SEC 488, SANS SEC 504 or CompTia Sec+
- experience with configuring Converged and Hyper Converged Infrastructure required.
- Strong understanding of VMWare, Openshift; and Citrix is required
- Sound understanding of BMC's (Bare Metal Controller) like iDRAC, iLOM, and other vendor supported BMC's is required
- Strong communication skills
- Process orientated with good attention to detail
- Australian citizenship & an NV1 clearance as a minimum
