12-Month Maternity Leave Contract
We are seeking a motivated Sales and Hospitality Manager to join our dynamic event team based on the Gold Coast, Australia on a 12-month maternity leave cover contract. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the growth, delivery, and success of Code Four's event hospitality programs across both the Huntington Beach and Gold Coast event portfolios, including Pacific Airshow both in Australia and in the U.S. This position is responsible for driving sales of hospitality products, building and maintaining client relationships, and managing the execution of all hospitality experiences to the highest standard.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Major event sales, exceptional negotiation skills, and a talent for building collaborative, long-lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new B2B hospitality sales opportunities across both US and Australian markets.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, sponsors, tourism partners, and event stakeholders.
· Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation through closing, including proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
· Meet or exceed revenue targets for hospitality and premium ticketing products.
· Maintain accurate sales tracking and reporting using CRM systems.
· Collaborate with internal teams to develop hospitality offerings that align with brand positioning and client expectations.
· Manage all aspects of hospitality client servicing, including pre-event communications, onboarding, and post-event follow-up.
· Oversee on-site hospitality operations, ensuring seamless guest experience and execution during both events.
· Coordinate with vendors, caterers, furniture hire, production teams, and logistics providers to deliver the event operationally.
· Coordinate hospitality deliverables cross-functionally with other departments including Partnerships and Operations.
Requirements:
· 5+ years of experience in sales, hospitality or corporate events preferably within large-scale events.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Strong organizational and project management abilities.
· Prior experience with CRM system for management of sales pipelines and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
· Effective verbal, written and presentation skills and ability to interact with people of all different levels and backgrounds in a team environment
· Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in deadline-driven environment.
· Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to provide clear creative direction and interaction with multiple internal and external stakeholders
· Flexible schedule (able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed) including domestic and international travel.
