What does the job look like?
Linfox's Intermodal business unit is currently seeking a highly motivated HC driver to join our transport operations team. This is a full-time ongoing position based in Mount Gambier, SA starting at 5am Monday to Friday. You will be required to safely deliver various timber products from Mount Gambier to our regional and interstate customers. Key areas:
* Driving to the commitment of Linfox Safety Standards at all times
* Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
* Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures
* Daily pre‐start checks and ensuring loads are restrained appropriately
* Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility principles and extensive knowledge of road transport legislation
* Customer Service
Are you the one?
* Current HC Licence is essential (MC license highly desirable)
* Ability to manage fatigue
* Familiarity with fundamental manual handling protocols
* Strong work ethic, customer service and communication skills
