Position Details
Palm Lake Care Bargara is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team on aPart-timebasis. You can work from just a few shifts a week up to 5 shifts a week and have work-life balance.
Shifts Available
Afternoon Shift: 2.00PM to 10.00PM - Combination of shifts available
Weekend shifts available withpenalty rates
As aPersonal Care Assistant, you'll provide daily living support to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. Working under the guidance of aRegistered Nurse, you will:
* Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and mobility
* Support residents' emotional and social needs
* Maintain accurate care documentation
* Collaborate with the clinical and lifestyle teams to enhance resident experiences
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you will need:
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
* A current National Police Check
* A caring and respectful approach towards residents
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A positive and enthusiastic attitude
* Empathy with elderly residents and their families
* Knowledge of Autumn Care would be highly regarded although not essential
* Experience working in an Australian Aged Care Facility highly regarded
