About the role
The position is an integral member of the Data Services team and is critical to the ongoing maintenance and development of integrations at UNE. The position will provide leadership within a team to prioritise and implement technical integration solutions for the ongoing improvement of UNEs user experience and data sharing, using appropriate methodologies that satisfy client (students and staff) and TDS requirements.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A relevant degree and substantial experience in development, platforms, databases and/or integration.
- Experience using the Swagger/Open API framework, including development of: API specifications, RESTful APIs, web services, and automated unit/integration test suites. Experience with RAG and other interfaces for AI/ML. Experience in Oracle databases and middleware platforms is desirable.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the analysis and design of integrations. Including the delivery of data to Large Language Models. Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Deep understanding of agile development, ITIL and quality assurance methodologies
- Outstanding communication skills with ability to lead technical teams effectively
- Robust autonomous work ethic with excellent prioritization capabilities
