We are seeking a skilled professional to drive revenue growth and meet our goals by advancing a deep understanding of Linux and cloud software ecosystem, negotiating contracts, building strategic relationships, and growing customers awareness of open source capabilities on Canonical Ubuntu.
* Experience with negotiating contracts and commercial business terms is essential for success in this role.
* The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and expanding strategic relationships with partners and customers.
* A strong understanding of open source capabilities and how to grow customers awareness is critical.
* This role requires delivering on targets, objectives and providing a voice of the partner and/or customer.
* Traveling both domestically and internationally to drive partnerships in person is a key aspect of this position.
* Aligning and supporting internal Field teams to identify, support, grow and transact is also required.
* This position involves working closely with Marketing, Sales Engineering and Product Management to deliver on targets, objectives and provide a voice of the partner and/or customer.
* Leading executive interlocks between partners/customers and our own leadership team is an important responsibility.
