Job Title: Business Development Manager - IT Managed Services

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Business Development Manager - IT Managed Services. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in cloud services, managed IT solutions, managed networks, and managed mobility.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of solution selling IT infrastructure managed services, managed networks, and managed mobility solutions. You should possess strong business acumen and excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, peers, vendors, and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in cloud services, managed IT solutions, managed networks, and managed mobility
* Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, peers, vendors, and partners
* Generate sufficient activity and be accountable for revenue growth and exceeding targets
* Develop and execute strategic business plans to meet or exceed sales targets
* Leverage the network to build a strong sales pipeline and opportunities
* Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and technical) to develop and present tailored solutions to clients
* Create proposals, pricing, and quotes for customer requirements and sales pitches
* Solve customer's business problems and manage client expectations
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals effectively
* Monitor and report on business development activities, sales performance, and market opportunities
Requirements:
* A couple of years proven track record of solution selling IT infrastructure managed services, managed networks, and managed mobility solutions
* Experience and network with mid-market and state and local governments
* Proven track record of exceeding sales expectations and of 100% accountability
* Structured enough to put together a business plan to achieve the target and disciplined enough to achieve the targets
* Hands-on experience in technical IT infrastructure solution selling
* Ability to open new doors and bring in new logos
* Strong network in Melbourne region and within IT ecosystem including vendors and referral partners
* A true hunter who is capable of leveraging networks and generating revenue with minimal leads/marketing support
* Candidates with technical background and certifications on VMWare, Microsoft, ITIL, and Microsoft certifications who require minimal pre-sales support shall be given preference but not mandatory as pre-sales support is available
