What You’ll Be Doing
* Owning and defining a compelling product and design vision aligned to business strategy and customer needs
* Leading a portfolio of digital products from strategy through to delivery, optimisation and lifecycle management
* Setting and running OKRs, portfolio priorities and investment trade‑offs, with full accountability for ROI and outcomes
* Building and leading a high‑performing, low‑ego, high‑standards product and design leadership team
* Driving a modern, high‑velocity product operating model that balances speed, quality and cost
* Partnering closely with Technology, Data, Marketing, Finance, Commercial and Operations leaders
* Championing customer‑centred, insight‑driven decision making across the organisation
* Owning portfolio financial management, including value realisation, cost control and investment governance
* Elevating design maturity and product craft across Kmart and Target
* Influencing and leading at executive level with clarity, evidence and commercial acumen
Qualifications
* Led multiple digital products or portfolios end‑to‑end across their lifecycle
* 7–10+ years’ experience in product leadership, including leading leaders
* Has built and scaled high‑performing product and design teams
* A commercially sharp, data‑driven and outcome‑obsessed mindset
* Comfort in making hard calls – stopping, pivoting or doubling down when evidence demands it
* The ability to operate confidently in complex, ambiguous environments
* Experience in mobile‑first/app‑first product environments (highly regarded)
* An understanding of modern product, platform, AI and digital ecosystems (without needing to be an engineer)
* Low‑ego, high‑standards, owner mindset
