About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.
You will be responsible for:
* Overseeing daily FOH operations with a strong focus on service excellence
* Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of section waiters, bartenders, sommeliers, hosts, food runners, supervisors, and baristas
* Driving a culture of professionalism, energy, and hospitality at the highest standard — equivalent to a Chef Hat–rated venue
* Managing rosters, labour costs, and operational budgets in line with business targets
* Working closely with the Head Chef, Executive Chef, and Group Operations Manager to deliver seamless coordination between FOH and BOH
* Ensuring compliance with all licensing, safety, and workplace requirements
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager (or Assistant Manager ready to step up) in an elegant dining or premium hospitality environment
* Minimum 1-2 years of Restaurant Manager experience required
* Assistant Manager experience is acceptable for candidates ready to step up to Restaurant Manager level
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team
* Solid knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service, with the confidence to support sommeliers in delivering world-class wine experiences
* Basic wine knowledge is required to effectively support sommelier operations
* Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills
* A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
* Experience in a Chef Hat–awarded or Michelin-recognised restaurant is highly beneficial
* Australian work rights are required for this position
