About The Role
The Ward Clerk is responsible for the delivery of consumer-focused administrative support, ensuring equity of access throughout the resident's journey in the facility and assisting the multidisciplinary team by providing efficient clerical support.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide confidential and accurate reception and clerical support, ensuring professional, consumer-focused customer service.
* Manage administrative tasks including data entry, filing, iPMS/BEIMS updates, mail processing and office supplies.
* Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with Barwon Health policies, documentation standards and reporting requirements.
* Communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, escalating and resolving issues to support efficient service delivery.
What We're Looking For
* Experience working in a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment, with previous administrative or clerical experience.
* Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn specialised health systems and software.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
* High attention to detail with strong record-keeping skills and flexibility to work rostered shifts as required.
