About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Area Coordinator to join our team. As an Area Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our Area Manager by making day-to-day decisions that drive business success.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity, working Monday – Friday from 6:30 am – 3:00 pm.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective management of production processes, including collaboration with production staff, review of production plans, and start-up & changeover of rooms.
You will also be responsible for maintaining high-quality products, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Additionally, you will oversee the daily rostering, engagement, expectations, communication, assessment, and training of employees within your designated area.
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, demonstrated ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with production staff to optimise processes where appropriate.
* Review production plans with Area Manager regularly.
* Ensure start‑up & changeover of the room is both managed and efficient.
* Maintain overall responsibility and accountability for the quality of all products from the designated line/area, with particular focus on safety implications.
* Oversee responsibility for bringing the production team on the journey related to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Oversee responsibility for management, daily rostering, engagement, expectations, communication, assessment and training, rewards & recognitions for all employees in the designated room/shift.
