Location & Work Arrangement
Permanent, full‐time position based in Melbourne or Canberra, with up to 3 days per week of remote work after training.
Responsibilities
* Undertake technical functions focused on reconsiderations, appeals and reviews of compensation entitlements.
* Provide technical advice, training and assistance to Case Managers and stakeholders, drawing on SRC Act legislation, case law and risk‐management considerations.
* Co‐develop, coach and deliver training programmes to support a world‐class customer experience and meet key performance measures.
* Operate within the legislative and regulatory environment to optimise outcomes for all stakeholders.
* Apply risk‐management principles to ensure compliance and sustainable decision‐making.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong experience in administering and managing a portfolio of claims and delivering technical advice and training under the SRC Act.
* Proven ability in dispute resolution, negotiation and mediation best practice.
* Experience working in a fast‐paced environment.
* Proficiency in developing, conducting training and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ability to coach, train and mentor Case Managers in the workers‐compensation industry.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Evidence of stakeholder management and decision‐making in a workers‐compensation setting.
