Responsibilities
* Drive heavy trucks to transport bulky goods and liquid cargo.
* Ensure goods are properly loaded, secured, and safely handled during transport.
* Plan and follow efficient routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery.
* Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure mechanical systems, safety equipment, and emergency tools are in good working condition.
* Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and other required documentation.
* Comply with all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company transport policies at all times.
* Perform minor vehicle maintenance and immediately report mechanical issues when identified.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery operations.
* Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Valid driver's license appropriate for heavy vehicle operation.
* Previous experience in truck driving or logistics transport preferred.
* Good knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle handling procedures.
* Ability to conduct basic vehicle inspections and minor maintenance.
* Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
