Clinical Nurse - Older Adult Mental Health
The Fremantle Older Adult Mental Health Service (FOAMHS) is seeking passionate, experienced Clinical Nurses to join our supportive, collaborative team.
We are a specialist community service providing psychiatric assessment and treatment for older adults experiencing mental health disorders.
* We have vacancies totalling 2.0 FTE (Full Time Equivalent) available.
* We offer full‐time, part‐time, permanent, or fixed‐term contracts, with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency. Casual appointments may also be considered.
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide compassionate care, administer medications, monitor patient progress and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a holistic treatment plan.
Fremantle Hospital is a 300‐bed specialist hospital focused on providing high‐quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.

Key responsibilities include:
* Provide compassionate, person‐centred care to older adults with mental health disorders.
* Administer medications and manage medication regimes.
* Monitor patient progress and report on the clinical status.
* Collaborate with doctors, psychologists, social workers, and other allied health professionals to devise holistic care plans.
* Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences.
* Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Key qualifications and experience:
* Registered Nurse (RN) registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Experience in older adult mental health or geriatric nursing, preferably in a community or psychiatric facility.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.

Eligibility: Applicants must have a valid working visa for fixed‐term appointments or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia for permanent appointments.
