About The Role
Assist in the conversation of supplied reals into correctly sized and sheeted stock ready for press through cutting and slitting.
Accountability
* Assist with the setup of the machine to the standard required in preparation for the run (make ready)
* Assess product for meeting quality standards, undertake quality checks
* Ensure quality and productivity requirements are met
* General cleaning and basic machine maintenance (e.g. filters)
* Assist with all preparation work in a timely manner to ensure continuous running of the machine.
* Identify issues, fault find and trouble shoot
* Operate a pile turner
* Safely operate a grab forklift for movement of reals
* Assist in cross training other staff and upskilling where applicable
* Assist with housekeeping within department in accordance with GMP Policy and Audits.
Qualifications
* 1-2 years' experience with web-fed machinery
* Prior experience in a manufacturing setting
* Forklift License with grab experience highly regarded
* Ability to operate a sheeting machine
* Understand machine function and operation
* Understand 'pre make ready' process
* Basic mathematical knowledge
* Computer literacy
* Attention to detail
* Problem solve
