Role Overview
The Education and Training Manager is an essential role to SPHERE's strategic mission of providing advanced health outcomes and healthcare to its partners. The role will be responsible for leading and implementing high-quality programs that specialise in education and training, with the goal of strengthening output capabilities with SPHERE's partnership.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and delivery of high-quality education programs that support workforce capability across health and research settings, using contemporary instructional design and adult learning principles.
* Develop and implement innovative digital and blended learning solutions that enhance engagement and accessibility across the SPHERE partnership.
* Work collaboratively with clinicians, researchers, educators, and consumers to co‐design education initiatives that respond to health system priorities.
* Oversee end‐to‐end program delivery, including planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring continuous improvement and measurable impact.
* Manage multiple concurrent projects within a complex, multi‐partner environment, ensuring alignment, quality, and timely delivery of outcomes.
Candidate Profile
* Strong Project Management Skills – confidently leads multiple education initiatives at once, coordinating timelines, resources and stakeholders to ensure training programs are delivered on schedule and to a high standard.
* Capability Builder – designs and implements learning strategies that uplift staff capability, strengthen organisational knowledge, and support long‐term workforce development across diverse teams.
* Great Communicator – translates complex information into clear, engaging training content, builds rapport with learners at all levels, and communicates with influence across clinical, operational and executive audiences.
Selection Criteria
* Relevant qualification in Education, Health Sciences, Public Health, or related field; or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated expertise in instructional design and adult learning, including digital learning and blended delivery.
* Proven experience designing, delivering, and evaluating education programs in health or research settings.
* Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, including co‐design with clinicians and consumers.
