**Job Title: Assistant Accountant**
McCosker Contracting has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our accounting team as an Assistant Accountant. This role will play a key part in supporting the financial and project accounting functions, as well as providing additional support for payroll and accounts payable processes.
* Assist the accounting team with transactional accounting activities, ensuring that the general ledger and sub ledgers are complete and accurate.
* Provide high-quality support to the accounting team, including managing and applying finance, accounts, and payroll processes.
* Develop and implement effective programs to improve business performance and achieve goals.
**Requirements:**
* Degree in commerce, finance, accounting or business or studying towards (desirable)
* Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts, payroll, or accounting
* Knowledge of accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and associated practices
* Experience in managing and applying finance, accounts, and/or payroll processes
