Job Title: Senior Estimator
We are seeking a seasoned Estimator to lead our Major Projects Division. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of remedial estimating.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of estimating major remedial projects from inception to submission. This will involve assessing tenders to determine project scope and gathering additional information where required.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates, working alongside Business Development and Operations teams on methodologies and programs.
* Engage with clients throughout the tender process.
* Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
* Follow up on project submissions and maintain detailed records.
* Improve and refine tendering processes and quality assurance standards.
* Lead and attend handover meetings with the construction team.
* Mentor and build a team of junior estimators as the division expands.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A minimum of 5-15 years' experience in Estimating within the Remedial, Civil, or Construction industry.
* Technical expertise in areas such as Facades, Concrete Repair, Blast & Paint, Structures, or Remediation.
* Leadership potential, ready to step into a senior role and develop a team.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
* A degree in Engineering or Construction (or equivalent).
* The ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
