About the role
We have a current opportunity for an experienced Car painter and PPF/Coating installer to join our team on a full‐time basis.
Whilst this role is a full‐time position (4-5 day working week), part‐time hours will be considered for the right applicant.
Duties
* Detail new and pre‐owned vehicles to a high‐quality standard.
* Maintain equipment and stocks of required consumables.
* As required, collect and deliver vehicles and parts to customers and various departments.
* Prepares surfaces by sanding and applying masking materials to protect areas that are not to be coated, ensuring all unwanted textures are removed.
* Performs polishing and applies ceramic coatings to achieve a long‐lasting gloss finish and enhanced surface protection.
* Removes masking materials and reinstalls external fittings upon completion of the spraying process.
Skills and experience
* Permanent, unrestricted Australian working rights.
* Current Australian driver's licence.
* Demonstrated experience as a car painter, coating applicator and PPF installer.
* Great communication and organisational skills.
* Excellent problem‐solving skills, with high‐level attention to detail.
* Dependable and reliable attitude.
* Certificate III qualification including minimum 2 years of on‐the‐job training, or Certificate IV qualification, or if no formal qualification, minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
