Role
Senior Podiatrist – Part‐time (flexible options between 2–4 days per week) role based on‐site in Hobart, Tasmania, commencing November 2026. The role requires management of a broad range of clients and conditions across the full spectrum of modern podiatry, providing a comprehensive whole‐person approach to treatment. Consultation times are extended (30–60 minutes) to allow a thorough clinical care approach.
Qualifications & Skills
* University degree in Podiatry and unrestricted registration with AHPRA
* A proven record of experience in private podiatry practice in all aspects of the profession, including biomechanics, diabetes, paediatrics, footwear, nail surgery and routine care
* Expertise and broad experience in biomechanical assessment, gait analysis, orthotic, footwear and exercise prescription, including dry‐needling treatment of foot, ankle and lower‐limb conditions – a strong advantage
* High‐level communication skills both in person and in documentation
* Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to high‐quality patient care and evidence‐based practice
* Minimum five years of clinical podiatry experience, focusing on advanced biomechanical treatments and chronic condition management
