We’re now hiring a Partnerships Director to shape the next phase of our commercial growth. This is a Senior role with a client service support, a role built for a seller who operates at a high level, brings real substance to the table, and knows how to turn strong relationships and good thinking into meaningful revenue.
The Opportunity
You’ll be stepping into a business with genuine momentum, a trajectory created through strong work, sharp positioning and a distinctive audience. You’ll bring a clear point of view shaped by real industry experience. The way you think, communicate and lead conversations will matter as much as the deals you close. You’ll have support, but you’ll also have space; space to build, shape, identify whitespace and move quickly.
Your success will come from three things; your relationships, your judgement and your ability to craft solutions that feel intelligent, modern and commercially strong.
What You’ll Do
- Build and strengthen relationships with senior agency leaders; Group Business Directors, Heads of Investment, Strategy Directors and partnership leads
- Lead direct conversations with CMOs, founders, marketing directors and senior brand decision‑makers
- Develop integrated partnerships across content, digital, social, events and magazine formats that feel premium and well‑considered
- Run full‑cycle conversations with confidence, identifying opportunities, shaping the solution, pitching with clarity and closing with certainty
- Work closely with editorial, events and digital to ensure commercial ideas are aligned, executable and land with the impact and integrity Forbes is known for
- Identify and build new category opportunities through insight, curiosity and informed thinking
Who You Are
- Established in the media industry with deep, trusted senior relationships across both agencies and direct brands
- Enjoys selling, hitting targets and taking direct ownership of commercial outcomes
- Can structure and negotiate six‑figure partnerships with confidence and commercial maturity
- Works fluidly with editorial, marketing and events to shape solutions that are executable, deliverable and fit for purpose
- Reads between the lines of a brief and guides clients toward the outcome they need, not just what they asked for
- Moves with pace and clarity when opportunities appear, without sacrificing quality
- Operates with initiative, spotting whitespace, shaping ideas and progressing conversations without waiting for instruction
- Stays calm under pressure and keeps momentum in long‑cycle conversations
- Works in a way that is clear, organised and easy for cross‑functional teams to collaborate with
