We are a family-owned electrical business looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of accounting and administrative tasks, supporting our day-to-day operations and helping to ensure smooth financial management.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Payroll** processing and managing **Superannuation** for employees.
- Handling **Accounts Payable** and **Accounts Receivable**, ensuring timely payments and invoicing.
- **Invoice** and **Quote Generation**: Creating, managing, and sending out customer quotes and invoices.
- Accurate **Data Entry** in MYOB, keeping financial records up to date.
- Managing **Bank Transactions** and processing reimbursements.
- Assisting with **EOFY preparation**, **BAS**, and **PAYG calculations** to support the accountant.
- **Debt management**: Keeping track of outstanding payments and liaising with clients as needed.
- **General Accounts Reporting** to provide regular updates on business financial health.
- Previous experience in accounting, ideally in a small business or trades-related environment.
- Proficiency in **MYOB** and robust data entry skills.
- A high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to support a small, close-knit team.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to take ownership of your work.
