Job Description: Azure PaaS and SaaS Engineer
1. Design and Implementation: Develop, deploy, and manage Azure PaaS and SaaS solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of reliability, security, and performance.
2. Azure DevOps: Utilize Azure DevOps practices to automate and streamline the software development lifecycle, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
3. Azure Arc: Implement and manage Azure Arc to extend Azure management and services to any infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
4. Kubernetes: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficient resource utilization.
5. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of services.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and achieve project goals.
7. Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems and processes.
Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Azure PaaS and SaaS solutions.
3. Technical Skills:
4. Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, git repositories, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
5. Hands-on experience with Azure Arc for hybrid and multi-cloud management.
6. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
7. Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
8. Understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.

Security Clearance Requirement: Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or are eligible for obtaining security clearance. This requirement ensures that all team members are cleared to handle sensitive information and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security in our operations.
On-call and Shift Expectations: Our positions are primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure). Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction.
