The Role
Based at our Hallam Branch - VIC, reporting to the Branch Manager, we are seeking an ambitious and motivated person to join the team. This is an entry‐level position into the electrical wholesale industry with Australia's largest independent wholesaler.
You will need to be customer‐service focused, open to learning and career‐minded.
Duties
* Receipt and dispatch of products and goods
* Warehouse and driving
* Deliveries to customers and sites
* Use of computers
* Customer Service / Sales
* Maintaining a professional store presentation
* General housekeeping
* Comply with company & customer QHSE standards & policies
* Contribute to continuous improvement
Payment
Fortnightly pay cycle.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Forklift licence is preferred but not essential. We are willing to pay the costs to obtain a forklift licence for the right applicant.
* Industry experience is not essential – just a willingness to learn, confidence, and desire to develop your skills and knowledge.
* Manual handling capability.
* Current driver's licence with a good driving record.
* Availability to work some overtime.
* Background and health screening may be required: pre‐employment medical including drug & alcohol screening and national criminal history check.
