We are seeking an experienced General Education Assistant for a Kindergarten class who is passionate about quality education. The ability to work in a team and foster positive relationships with students is a must.
Commencing on 20th July 2026 – 6 month Fixed term with a review for extension.
General Education Assistant – Working in Kindergarten General EA – Part time – Mon, Tues and Wed Experience and skills
* Experience working as a General Education Assistant in a school setting.
* Good written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents and teaching professionals.
* Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to work as part of a team in the evaluation of educational programs.
* Ability to assist teachers in implementing educational programs.
* Strong organisational and time management skills with an ability to manage and prioritise a number of concurrent tasks.
* Proficient in the use of technology.
* Flexibility to adapt to situations which occur within a classroom.
* Show creativity and initiative to implement programs as needed.
* Comprehensive understanding of "Duty of Care" and place a high value on child well‐being.
* Strong work ethic, striving for continuous improvement and the achievement of high standards.
Education/Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications or equivalent (Cert 3 or Cert 4 in education support).
* Current Working with Children Checks.
