About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Manager to lead our dedicated maintenance team. This full-time role is central to ensuring our properties are maintained to the highest standard, enhancing guest satisfaction and preserving owners' investments. You'll report to the General Manager and collaborate closely with our housekeeping team.
What We Offer
$80,000–$85,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians across multiple properties
Schedule preventative and reactive maintenance using our property management system
Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment
Run weekly toolbox meetings to ensure team alignment
Guest & Owner Support
Respond to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly
Communicate with property owners regarding issues, updates, and improvement opportunities
Manage after-hours maintenance concerns on a shared rotating roster
Contractor & Project Management
Liaise with third-party contractors for specialist tasks and ensure timely delivery
Build relationships with local trades for ongoing support and quotes
Identify and manage seasonal and ad hoc property projects
System & Process Oversight
Use maintenance tracking software to assign, monitor, and cost tasks
Ensure safety and compliance through regular inspections and audits
Maintain detailed property records and updates

Ability to manage pressure and navigate minor conflicts
High computer literacy (Microsoft Office, property/task management software)
Current Police Clearance and residence near Dunsborough
A Day in the Life
Your day might begin with a briefing on any overnight maintenance issues, followed by team scheduling and task delegation. You'll inspect properties, liaise with owners and guests, manage contractor work, and ensure the maintenance team's productivity stays high. Each day ends with a status review of urgent and scheduled tasks.
