If you are a Town Planner who likes pace, pressure and seeing projects actually move, this is your new job.
You will join the residential development team and help manage projects across the full development lifecycle, from raw greenfield land and masterplanning through to subdivision approvals, lot delivery and residential construction outcomes.
This role sits right in the middle of planning, development, delivery and stakeholder management, where your ability to keep projects moving genuinely impacts timelines, delivery outcomes and the broader success of the business.
One day you could be reviewing a potential site acquisition with the development team, the next negotiating conditions with council, managing consultants to critical deadlines or working through subdivision staging strategies to prevent delays before they happen.
This is a role for someone who thinks ahead, thrives on momentum and enjoys being deeply involved in the commercial reality of getting projects delivered.
You will be responsible for:
* Managing projects through the full planning and approvals process
* Preparing, reviewing and lodging Development Applications, subdivision applications and planning documentation
* Coordinating external consultants including engineers, surveyors, urban designers, environmental and traffic specialists
* Managing relationships with councils, certifiers and stakeholders to keep approvals progressing
* Reviewing planning controls, zoning and due diligence on development opportunities
* Supporting masterplanning and residential estate delivery across NSW
* Monitoring timelines, risks and approval conditions to keep projects moving
* Working closely with internal development and construction teams to align planning outcomes with project objectives
* Identifying issues early and proactively solving problems before they impact delivery
* Undertaking stakeholder meetings, inspections and consultant management throughout the project lifecycle
ABOUT YOU
You are already working developer-side, client-side or within a private consultancy environment and understand how important momentum, relationships and communication are in getting projects delivered.
You are commercially minded, proactive and capable of managing multiple moving parts without needing constant direction. You know how to build relationships, influence stakeholders and keep projects progressing, even when challenges arise.
Ideally, you will bring:
* 5–8+ years Town Planning experience
* Experience across residential developments, subdivisions and DA management
* Confidence dealing with councils, certifiers, consultants and stakeholders
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* The ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
* A proactive mindset with the confidence to take ownership and drive outcomes
* Most importantly, you are someone who likes getting things done.
