Job Title: Customer Service and Dispatch Agent
Overview:
The role of a Customer Service and Dispatch Agent involves generating, growing, and achieving sales in the building and construction industry. You will work closely with our transport and logistics team as well as key account managers to confirm orders, respond to general enquiries, and allocate trucks to the schedule.
Responsibilities:
* Work in a team environment coordinating the dispatch of recycled concrete, aggregates, and road base products using software.
* Be responsible for incoming customer calls from Victorian and Queensland customers.
* Coordinate up to 50 trucks, ensuring timely delivery of products to clients.
* Maintain strong relationships with drivers and other stakeholders while resolving any issues that may arise during the dispatch process.
* Utilize high-level Microsoft skills (MS Excel, Outlook) and have a strong focus on numeracy to efficiently manage day-to-day tasks.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in telephone-based logistics is highly desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication and customer service skills are required to deliver exceptional results.
* A positive attitude and ability to work under pressure are crucial to success in this role.
* Experience with aggregates, construction materials, or concrete is an advantage but not necessary.
