Job Summary
State Street's Alpha TIER Integration Services team is seeking a versatile individual with strong business and data analysis skills to manage development and support of product offerings. The successful candidate must possess skill in complex business and data analysis with expertise in functional requirements gathering, documentation and data mapping, excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, a proven ability to liaise between business/implementation and technology teams, and strong collaboration skills.
About the Team
State Street's Alpha TIER Integration Services team is part of Charles River Development (CRD), which became part of State Street in 2018. CRD creates enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in institutional investment, wealth management, and hedge funds. Together we have created State Street Alpha – an open front‐to‐back platform launched in 2019.
What You Will Do
* Work closely with Business, Data, and Technology Solutions to articulate and document business requirements in agile story form for strategic product development.
* Leverage business analysis frameworks and Business Architecture to develop an integrated view of the business within the enterprise and drive strategic business outcomes.
* Create Agile stories based on business requirements and work with the development team to see those stories through the project lifecycle.
* Support Alpha Client BAU efforts, project timelines, and overall Client Service.
* Provide front‐to‐back product expertise and guidance throughout the implementation project, ensuring solutions meet the customer's and State Street's business requirements.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
* Minimum BS/BA degree in Technology, Finance, Business, or equivalent.
* 5+ years of industry experience with front, middle, and back office functionality, and/or trade order management platforms (e.g., Bloomberg PORT, CRD, BRS Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Fidessa Minerva, Eze Software, BBH Infomediary).
* Experience as a Business Analyst on medium to large scale projects.
* Expertise in transaction messaging protocols and formats (XML, FIX, SWIFT, etc.).
* Strong communication, analytical, problem‐solving, and organizational skills.
* Knowledge of SDLC & Agile methodology and tools (e.g., JIRA, Kibana dashboard).
* Experience with Microsoft Office tools Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.
