* Permanent Full Time Position
* Salary Range $109,081.52 to $114,919.49 per annum depending on qualifications and experience
* Salary increases to $113,444.78 to $119,578.67 from 1 July 2026 (4% increase)
* Up to 15.5% employer superannuation (through co-contributions)
* 5 weeks annual leave, plus an additional 2 days volunteer leave

About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal role within the City's Development Compliance team. As part of the Strategy and Development Directorate, you will play a key role in upholding planning and building standards, protecting the community, and contributing to the City's long-term vision.
Leading by example, you will support the Coordinator Compliance Services in the day-to-day delivery of services while mentoring and guiding a team of Development Compliance Officers. This is a dynamic and varied role that blends technical expertise with strong people leadership, problem-solving, and on-the-ground investigations.

Who We're Looking For
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
* Solid experience in a compliance-related field.
* Proven ability to interpret approved plans, legislation, Acts and Regulations.
* Well-developed skills in problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
* Excellent attention to detail, time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
* A collaborative, team-first approach.
* Local government experience applying Planning and Building legislation and Local Laws (highly desirable).
