What is CoOps?
Our Co-Ops team consists of consultants who provide the essential services of a managed service (24x7, Incident, Problem, change, etc.) and deliver proactive services to develop/enhance and build new Azure services and enhancements for our customers.
Typically, our consultants perform just as much build and enhancement work as managed services support.
This position is for a n Azure SRE within the CoOps team, who will be consulting, designing & implementing solutions with our customers.
What The Role Involves
* Identifying and implementing uplifts and modernisation opportunities for customer technology
* Provide Azure enhancement, build and development services to our customers
* Build, configure and deploy IaC pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Bicep)
* Provide level 3 support to our Managed Services customers
* Provide paid on-call/after-hours support for Major Incidents on a rotating roster
* Applying an automate-first approach to customer platforms for reliability at scale
* Hardening the security posture of customer environments
* Perform and automate security posture and FinOps reporting and reviews
* Contribute to Arinco’s engineering practices, standards and frameworks. You will work closely with the Tech Leads and tech community
Tech you will use (to be successful in this role, you will need experience in these):
* Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall, Azure Bastion, Virtual Machines, Scale set
* Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel
* Azure DevOps, GitHub
* Azure Pipelines, ARM/Bicep templates
What You'll Bring To The Role

* Excellent communication skills. Someone who enjoys interacting with colleagues and customers and values strong relationships
* Curious about tech – whilst you may excel at an area, you aren’t afraid to learn and deliver in areas you are 100% knowledgeable about
* Knowledge of DevOps & Github and how they relate to Infrastructure as Code
* Extensive experience developing, enhancing and deploying Azure Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
* Senior level consulting experience (the ability to organise and run workshops, gather, document and scope customer requirements, deliver on the work, and oversee others doing the work)
