The Animal Referral Hospital is Australia's pioneering privately‐owned, multi‐disciplinary specialist hospital and a key part of the country's largest emergency and specialist group, hosting the nation's most extensive team of Emergency Veterinarians and Criticalists.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Vet to join our dynamic team. This position features a unique co‐location arrangement, enabling close collaboration with colleagues in the General Practice clinic, with the goal of delivering top‐notch emergency care to the Wollongong and greater Illawarra region.
Your Skills & Experience
* Possession of a Veterinary degree eligible for registration in NSW.
* Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
* Highly desirable previous experience in emergency veterinary care.
* Ability to maintain composure and display empathy in high‐pressure scenarios.
* Effective communication skills with peers, pet owners, and referring veterinarians.
* Passion for supporting individuals and their beloved pets during times of need.
