The Environmental Services Coordinator is accountable for leading and supervising a team that ensures high standards of cleanliness and waste management within the hospital.
* Operate and maintain service equipment and personal issue items.
* Develop and sustain harmonious working relationships with Clinical Managers and caregivers.
* Support the management of external contractors.
* Prepare work schedules and manage leave liability and productivity hours.
Essential Qualifications:
* Prior experience in operational leadership roles, preferably in environmental services.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
* Detailed knowledge of cleaning and infection control standards in healthcare settings.
* Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office software applications.
