About the role
We are seeking an experienced carpenter in the Townsville area to work under our Site Supervisors. Someone who continues to work on the tools but has the potential to grow their career into a more senior role within our business. This is a great opportunity for a carpenter looking to gradually progress off the tools and into supervision.
Responsibilities
* Work unsupervised and assist the site supervisors in managing basic on‐site issues as they arise.
* Maintain liaison and communication with stakeholders professionally and efficiently, ensuring high stakeholder satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Trade qualification in carpentry with a minimum of 5 years' experience (relevant White Card and carpentry licence required).
* A team‐oriented and customer‐focused disposition, coupled with an accountable and results‐driven attitude.
* Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
* A current driver's licence with a clean driving history.
* Own vehicle and tools.
* Demonstrated experience working in a fast‐paced team environment with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Employment Details
This is a full‐time permanent position. Remuneration will be paid commensurate with skills and experience, and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
