We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and experienced Vocational Services Manager who thrives in complex environments and is ready to lead our Vocational Services Team. If you're a strategic thinker with a knack for building strong relationships and driving results, this role is perfect for you
The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a commitment to excellence
Your Role as Vocational Services Manager
* Integrate the GEO Continuum of Care Vision and operating philosophy into the fabric of the prison environment.
* Lead the strategic direction of Fulham's Vocational Services Department including the delivery of quality education, relevant vocational training and meaningful prisoner employment
* Provide operational management and oversight of all Industry Trade Training areas within the Centre which may include construction, engineering, horticulture, hospitality, maintenance and domestic operations.
* Ensure VET program is delivered by a Registered Training Organization (RTO) that is registered with the Australian Skills Quality Authority and meets their service delivery requirements.
* Manage contracts with commercial partners and subcontractors and timely reporting on the operational requirements to internal and external stakeholder
About You
* Relevant qualifications in education and/or trade management experience
* Minimum 3 years' experience management experience in trade or teaching environment
* Proven experience in a relevant industry
* A commitment to positively meeting the employment and vocational training needs of prisoners and a genuine desire to contribute to reducing offending.
* High level reporting writing skills and attention to detail.
