Key Responsibilities
* Lead mechanical design to align with project objectives and standards
* Ensure compliant, maintainable assets across all environments
* Provide technical expertise and review engineering deliverables
* Manage RFIs, risks, and engineering documentation
* Support tenders, manage consultants, and engage stakeholders
* Lead design reviews and ensure actions are closed out

You'll also bring
* Degree in mechanical engineering, and a minimum of 10 to 15 years' experience in the delivery of mining and/or industrial projects.
* Experienced in the design, construction, and maintenance of mechanical and materials handling assets.
* Strong experience in analysing conveyor systems to evaluate effectiveness.
* Experience with the design, operation and maintenance of balanced machines such as stackers and grab unloaders.
* Experienced in writing specifications and technical reports.
* Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Excellent problem‐solving and analytical abilities.
* Detailed knowledge of statutory requirements and national standards associated with the design, approval and development of mechanical assets.
Highly desirable skills
* Owner's team or owner's engineer experience highly desirable
* Chartered Engineer, or eligible for Chartered Engineer registration.
* Knowledge of Port operations and mechanical infrastructure.
* Experience with mechanical installations within Hazardous Areas
