About the Opportunity
ACCIONA is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Adelaide‐based pre‐contracts team. This role will support bids and tenders across a diverse portfolio of projects, including but not limited to civil infrastructure, utilities, structures and Major defence programs of work.
Due to project requirements, applicants must be Australian Citizens.
Key Accountabilities
* Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for large‐scale infrastructure projects
* Analyse project drawings, specifications and scope documentation
* Quantify materials, labour, plant and subcontractor requirements
* Obtain, assess and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing
* Assist with bid and tender submissions, including cost plans and value engineering
* Identify project risks, opportunities and cost efficiencies
* Review construction methodologies and provide buildability input
* Support tender‐to‐delivery handover to project teams
* Maintain estimating databases, benchmarks and supporting documentation
Qualifications & Experience Required
* A tertiary qualification in civil engineering, construction management or similar
* 5-10 years' experience as an Estimator within civil construction
* Ability to estimate across multiple disciplines, including civil, structural and utilities
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
* Experience working within structured tender and governance environments
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
* Australian Citizenship (mandatory due to defence project requirements)
