Overview
We are seeking a switched-on and highly alert Door Greeter to manage the entry and exit point of our busy retail store. In this role, you aren't just saying hello—you are our primary line of defense for stock integrity.
This role would perfectly suit a customer-focused individual, including those with a background in corporate concierges, asset compliance, or ex-security workers looking to transition into a dynamic retail environment. You will balance a warm, professional welcome with the consistent execution of our inventory protection policies, including conducting confident bag and receipt checks.

Your day-to-day
* Stock Integrity & Compliance: Consistently conduct thorough, polite bag and receipt checks for customers exiting the store in line with company policy.
* High-Visibility Presence: Act as an alert, proactive visual presence at the doors to encourage compliance and protect store assets.
* Customer Service & Inquiries: Welcome shoppers warmly, direct them to correct aisles, and share current catalog promotions.
* Discrepancy Reporting: Monitor the exit gates and calmly address any inventory discrepancies or un-scanned items before they leave the floor.
* Traffic Control: Manage customer flow during peak trade periods to ensure all entry and exit protocols are strictly followed.
* Must be available for work over the weekend
About you
* Confident & Assertive: Ability to execute mandatory bag-check procedures firmly, professionally, and without hesitation.
* Strong Observational Skills: Highly alert with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to spot irregularities in a busy environment.
* Excellent Communication: Friendly and polite interpersonal skills, with the ability to de-escalate minor customer pushback regarding store policies.
* Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing at the storefront for long shifts while maintaining an active, professional posture.
