LAUNDRY ATTENDANT - Hamilton Island

Hamilton Island is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support the smooth and efficient operation of our on-island laundry service, ensuring all linen and towelling for our hotels and food & beverage outlets are handled, sorted and delivered to the highest standard.

Where you'll make an impact
* Operate a forklift safely to move, sort, and organise linen and towelling for all island properties and outlets
* Receive and process truck deliveries, ensuring items are separated and stacked correctly
* Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across all assigned work areas and storage sheds
* Minimise soiled linen through correct handling, storage and distribution practices
* Ensure table linen is accurately accounted for and distributed to food & beverage outlets
* Refill guest laundry powder dispensers and support general store organisation as needed
* Complete daily checklists, forklift inspections, and report any stock shortages or equipment issues
What we're looking for
You're a team player with strong attention to detail, excellent time management and a proactive approach to your work. You enjoy physical tasks, take pride in cleanliness and presentation, and understand the importance of safety and care when handling equipment and materials.
To be successful, you'll need:
* An open unrestricted driver's licence (Essential)
* Minimum 6 months' experience in a similar role (Desirable)
